Magnetometer X is designed as a privacy-first utility.
All sensor processing happens locally on your iPhone.
The App accesses your device's magnetometer (compass) to measure magnetic field strength. This raw data is processed in real-time on your device to display gauges, graphs, and vectors. This data is not transmitted to us.
If you enable "Include GPS Data in Logs" in the Settings, the App will access your precise location.
When you create a recording or log, the App generates a CSV file. These files are stored in your device's local storage or your iCloud Drive (if enabled by you). We do not have access to these files unless you explicitly share them with us (e.g., via email for support).
We use the data solely to provide the App's functionality:
Magnetometer X does not use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics or Firebase) or advertising networks. We do not share your data with external companies.
Since we do not transmit your data to our servers, we do not hold your data. Your logs and recordings remain on your device until you choose to delete them or delete the App.
